Bored as hell in suburban Minnesota.

Well, last night I actually did end up doing something, nothing too exciting, but better than sitting at home by myself.  Went to a friends house to watch a movie, had a couple drinks.  I fell asleep and missed about the last half-hour of it, but I'd seen it a bunch of times before anyway.  I'd bought a six-pack of Guiness draught, and about half way through the first bottle, I noticed something rattling in the bottle.  A little investingating showed me that there was some weird, plastic thing in it.  Finally, I noticed a little blurb printed on the side of the bottle, apparently it's called a "rocket widget" and as far as I can tell, I think it's supposed to help it stay fresh or something.  Last, but not least, babyblueeyesok sent me a card that I got yesterday, it really brightened up my day.
