On Monday we got a foot of snow. Chaos reigned for the first half of the day at least. A few highways had to be shut down for a while (buses and other vehicles got stuck on them). I did two rounds of shoveling before heading to work, it really sucked because it was the heavy, wet snow and it was sticking to the shovel so I had to knock it off every couple of scoops full. At work, the morning tech couldn't make it in because she lives in St Paul, so we were short-handed. Thankfully the pharmacy was pretty slow, but the day still managed to pass quickly. Later in the night I went bowling with some friends. Yesterday was my day off, went out to lunch with a friend at a local Mexican restaurant. I'm not usually a huge fan of Mexican food, but it wasn't bad. Today I went back to work, it was busier than normal for a Wednesday (usually our slowest day), but not too bad. We're supposed to get a second round of snow tonight, maybe 4 to 8 inches. I hope it melts soon. I normally like winter and snow, but it's mid-March, it's time for this stuff to start going away.
